In this episode the Rally Ready guys take a one out of 700 made Hype Blue STI and transform it into a recce car—short for reconnaissance. A recce car is used before a race to review the course and to make pace notes. Essentially the equivalent of a pre-runner truck. A few essentials of a recce car include suspension, underbody protection, mudflaps and proper wheels.
